What this viewer shows
- 6 public profile fields: username, display name, bio, avatar, followers and following.
- Up to 12 recent posts as thumbnails, each linking to the original post.
- A direct link to the profile on Instagram, which stays the authoritative source.
How it works
- You enter a public username — no @ symbol, no login.
- Server-side API routes validate the handle, rate limit the request and call the data source.
- The response is cached for 5 minutes, so a repeat lookup returns instantly.

Frequently asked questions
Can this tool view restricted Instagram profiles?
No. It only supports profiles and does not bypass Instagram privacy settings.
Do I need an Instagram account to use it?
No—our viewer is designed for no-login use, but only for profiles.
Is this affiliated with Instagram or Meta?
No. This website is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta.
What exactly can I see without logging in?
For a public account you get 6 profile fields — username, display name, bio, avatar, follower count and following count — plus up to 12 recent posts as thumbnails. Anything beyond that requires logging in to Instagram itself.
Does the account owner get notified that I looked?
No. This viewer sends no follow request, no view event and no message. Instagram does not notify accounts about profile views, and we do not report viewing activity to anyone.
Is there a limit on how many profiles I can look up?
Yes — 20 lookups per 10 minutes per IP address. The limit exists to keep the service stable and affordable; if you hit it, the page tells you to wait a few minutes.
Why do I sometimes get fewer than 12 posts?
12 is the maximum, not a guarantee. Accounts with fewer posts return fewer, and posts that are unavailable at request time are skipped rather than shown as broken thumbnails.
Do I need to give an email address or create a password?
No. There is no signup, no email field and no password on this site. The only thing you type is the Instagram username you want to preview.
How fresh is the data I see?
Responses are cached for 5 minutes, so a profile you check twice in a row returns the cached copy. For the authoritative, up-to-the-second view, open the profile on Instagram.
